G’NITE, 2008!

Tonight we get to put 2008 to bed! Tomorrow represents a NEW BEGINNING.

Yet, before we move too quickly forward… it might do us well to reflect on this past year.

When I think of 08, I think about:

  • Unprecedented growth at Keystone Church
  • More lives changed than EVER before, more new Christ Followers
  • More stories of lives changed than I can ever remember
  • Strong, record-breaking giving despite a rough economy
  • Sharpening of our vision
  • Planting our first church: Wellspring Church
  • Saying goodbye to some, saying hello to others
  • Addition by subtraction
  • Raising up the greatest volunteer army in the world!
  • All the sweet new faces
  • All the so familiar, faithful friends

This is starting to feel like the OSCARS, so I’ll leave it at this for now…

Can you think of anything else?

Merry Christmas!

From my family to yours, we wish you a VERY, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

My greatest prayer for you this year: RECEIVE Christ’s peace & GIVE the peace of Christ to others. It’s an incredible formula for this life… so, GO WITH THE FLOW this Christmas!
Keystone this weekeend was INCREDIBLE. Through 5 services we had over 1200 people on our campus! That’s over 1200 people who were able to see the difference Jesus can make in their lives! So many people prayed to receive Christ, and so many new faces… INCREDIBLE!

Keystone is a gift!

The POWER of a WIN

I had the INCREDIBLE opportunity to go to the COWBOYS vs. GIANTS game last night.  The atmosphere was ELECTRIC.  The place was PACKED.  People were there EARLY.  There was DRAMA involving T.O., Witten, & Romo (among others).  There were the ’second-guessers’… the ‘nay-sayers’… the ‘kool-aid drinkers’… and everything in-between.

And today, in Cowboy-land, all is well for the cowboy fan.

It’s the power of the W-I-N.

THIS WEEKEND: we have an opportunity for SO MANY LIVES to experience the W-I-N… Beginning this Saturday night, Keystone presents the first of 5 Christmas services.  Lives will be changed.  FAMILY TREES forever altered.  Marriages healed!

WHO DO YOU KNOW that you could invite to this incredible event?

Sacrificing for Others

Guest Post: by Brian Burton

If you missed this past weekend, you missed a message that every member of Keystone should hear. Brandon laid out the heartbeat of Keystone.  It was very challenging and exciting.  It is definitely a must see!  Check it out below.
